Course Overview
BBO Training offers commissioned NHS Health Check training tailored to the needs of Primary Care teams, PCNs and ICBs.
This half-day programme is designed to support clinicians delivering NHS Health Checks in accordance with the national NHS Health Check Competency Framework and local governance requirements.
The session focuses on safe cardiovascular risk assessment, effective communication of QRISK3 scores, lifestyle intervention strategies, and appropriate referral pathways. Training can be adapted to suit mixed-skill audiences, including Healthcare Assistants, Practice Nurses, Pharmacists and other Primary Care clinicians.
