Course Overview
This full-day Menopause Update course is designed for healthcare professionals already involved in menopause care who wish to update and refine their practice in line with current NICE guidance and emerging evidence.
The programme provides an in-depth, evidence-based review of menopause assessment and management within Primary Care, supporting clinicians to prescribe confidently, manage complexity, and communicate risk clearly and proportionately.
The course addresses practical prescribing decisions, cardiovascular and breast cancer risk assessment, management of vulvovaginal symptoms, testosterone therapy considerations, and the management of special groups including women with premature ovarian insufficiency (POI) or previous breast cancer.
Teaching is clinically focused, interactive, and case-based, enabling participants to apply guidance safely within real-world consultations.
