Course Overview
This CPD accredited two-day course provides a comprehensive foundation in contraception for healthcare professionals working in Primary Care and community settings.
Designed for clinicians who are developing their role within contraceptive care, the programme equips participants with the essential knowledge and clinical understanding required to provide safe, structured contraceptive advice in line with current national guidance, including UKMEC 2025.
The course covers all contraceptive methods, including combined hormonal contraception, progestogen-only methods, injectable contraception, long-acting reversible contraception (LARC), and emergency contraception.
