Overview
Safe and effective prescribing is a core component of modern Primary Care practice. As prescribing roles expand across nursing, pharmacy and allied health professions, clinicians require regular updates to maintain competence, confidence and compliance with evolving legislation and prescribing guidance.
BBO Training provides prescribing education designed for non-medical prescribers working in Primary Care settings. Our courses support clinicians in maintaining safe prescribing practice, understanding regulatory changes, and applying evidence- based pharmacological decision-making in everyday consultations.
Training focuses on practical prescribing challenges encountered in General Practice, including antimicrobial stewardship, prescribing for children, prescribing in pregnancy, and recognising drug interactions and adverse reactions.
